Kings Ridge is a relatively short course (6183 yds), but with a lot of elevation. If you can hit long and straight perhaps the course might not present a challenge. Trees along both sides of the fairways punish errant shots. But there are a lot of risk reward situations.
The greens could be in better shape and a bit faster. The grass used on the green had a lot of grain an it took quite some time to get used to them. Into the grain up hill you just couldn't hit it hard enough.
The lovely finishing hole (par 4) could be reached in one by the long hitters. I think everyone should play this course once, simply to experience how a short course can defend itself quite well.
Although this course is some 70 miles away from our homes we will definitely play there once in a while.
